After many college and life adventures, Amanda Herring FINALLY knew what she wanted to do. She wanted to run with scissors. Run a business, that is. She began designing quilting patterns in 2008, a perfect way to put those interior and fashion design college years to use! Fabric design was soon to follow and to date Amanda has eleven fabric lines with Riley Blake Designs, the most recent released in October 2014 called The Cottage Garden and two more following close behind, La Vie Boheme in May 2015 and Ardently Austen in October 2015. She has also had the opportunity to work with Bazzill Basics Paper company on three scrapbook paper lines and her artwork continues to cross into additional arenas.
Amanda’s ongoing creative journey is very important to her as is her desire to inspire and motivate others in theirs. She loves to meet other people along her creative path and has had the opportunity to help many people find and express their creativity. Amanda founded Find Your Lula in 2013 and has loved each and every opportunity it has given her.
